In fact, I recommend re-watching all three, in order, before going to this one. If you haven't seen PA1, PA2 AND PA3, see those before you go see this one. I'm gonna recommend this to anyone who likes the PA movies, and go as far as to say see in the theater if you fall in that group. I didn't find myself hating on the medium in this one though. The resulting work, Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, is a Latino-themed story that ditches any number of Paranormal Activity staples, taking the characters out of. I have a love/hate relationship with found footage movies. little Long Island town on the map: It was the homes paranormal activity, which began 13 months. Whether it's scary or not is highly subjective, but it has its moments. Celebrating one of the few classic Call of Duty memes. The activity is back with a wicked and evil vengeance'and it’s claimed a new victim. I think that the series has been missing something since the second film: dread. I liked the callbacks to the other films in the series though. There are some interesting moments, but not a lot of real scares. It's also by far the funniest installment of the PA series, which I found refreshing. Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones breaks new ground and buries you screaming in it. It's better than Paranormal Activity 4, but that's not saying much. That's the same formula that made PA2 and PA3 good, and also partially explains why PA4 sucked. Frankly, it IS the true 4th installment and you can just erase the official PA4 from memory: this movie continues/advances the overarching PA storyline and is directly tied to PA1, PA2 and PA3. But you know what? This PA "spin-off" really isn't that bad and is highly enjoyable for PA fanboys. And when I heard about this spin-off, it just sounded terrible and made me wonder if this franchise is going terribad like the Saw series. PA4 was pretty bad which really lowered expectations for this movie and rest of this franchise.
